SUMMARY:Simposio ONCO-ID 2020
DESCRIPTION:En los últimos años se han producido avances de una gran magnitud en el diagnóstico y tratamiento del cáncer. Estos se deben\, principalmente\, al mejor conocimiento de su biología\, consecuencia\, en gran medida\, de la aparición de las modernas técnicas de secuenciación genética y de una nueva disciplina\, la inmuno-oncología. A esto hay que sumar los grandes logros en el campo de la tecnología farmacéutica que han llevado al desarrollo de fármacos oncológicos cada vez más específicos\, y por tanto más eficaces y menos tóxicos para los pacientes. Aunque estos importantes avances en el diagnóstico y el tratamiento del cáncer no han ocurrido en todos los subtipos por igual\, es cuestión de tiempo que acaben por producirse en todas las entidades oncológicas. Para poder llegar a un diagnóstico más preciso y ofrecer las mejores opciones terapéuticas a los pacientes\, y\, también\, y no menos importante\, para seguir avanzando en la investigación contra el cáncer\, es fundamental generalizar el conocimiento práctico de la oncología de precisión. Durante esta primera edición del Simposio ONCO-ID 2020\, pretendemos revisar y discutir todos aquellos aspectos relacionados con los biomarcadores tanto fluidos como en tejido\, y su utilidad para el empleo de terapias de precisión que son ya una realidad o van a serlo en un futuro próximo. Para ello contaremos con ponentes y moderadores de primer nivel nacional e internacional y abarcaremos todas las entidades oncológicas dentro de los tumores sólidos. Sin más\, queremos invitarte a asistir y acompañarnos a la 1ª edición del Simposio ONCO-ID de manera virtual que tendrá lugar los próximos 24\, 25 y 26 de noviembre de 2020.
