Rodrigo Toledo, PhD

Rodrigo is a Molecular Biologist with PhD in Cancer Genetics & Genomics and ten years of experience in designing and managing projects in the Oncology field in different public and private institutes in the USA, Brazil, and Spain (Madrid and Barcelona). He has been awarded with the Miguel Servet Award, the Emerging Translational Researcher Award of the Olga Torres Foundation and the Swiss Bridge Foundation Award. Rodrigo is currently a Researcher at Vall d’Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO) and the Leader of the Liquid Biopsy working module team of the CIBERONC network. He has published more than 50 research papers in renowned scientific as the New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet Oncology, Nature Genetics, Nature Reviews Endocrinology and Metabolism, and others, and his papers have been cited more than 2400 times (H-index = 25).
